Biography: Steve McShane, 37, was born in Palo Alto and raised in Santa Clara County. He moved to Salinas in September of 1999. Steve graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelors degree in Soil Science. He completed an MBA from Santa Clara University in 2002 and is the Owner and General Manager of McShane’s Nursery & Landscape Supply in Salinas. Steve currently serves on the Salinas City Council. When not working, find Steve hiking, traveling or growing exotic fruits in his backyard.
